FR “In Bloom” Vanessa                       byRupak

Here she is!!  The first thing I noticed about this doll is the brightness of her makeup.  I do not have too many Vanessa dolls, nor am I a big fan of this mold, but her surprisingly vibrant makeup actually pleased me.  She comes in her pink teddy, gold fabric stretches down the middle. It’s very well made, and has a nice fit and finish.

The second outfit is a mint green pencil skirt and a matching coat.  The fabric of this is a beautiful and buttery soft brushed twill.  The color is a very soft mint green (not the blue it might seem in the photos).

A couple of issues need to be mentioned at this point - I could not fully close the skirt when worn on top of the teddy, and I

could not put on the coat at all.  Her hand simply did not pass through the sleeve area.  I will try again when I have about 30 minutes to spare for just that purpose.  The coat is lined in beautiful pink, and the best part is that ribbon is fully removable like a belt.

The third outfit is the one that I liked best.  It is a gorgeous dream in chiffon and some other frilly stuff.  The shoulder straps kept falling off her shoulders, and Vanessa looked a tad chubby - but it is still a dreamy outfit.

Accessories:  Beautiful faux Louis Vuitton bag, rhinestone drop earrings, rhinestone bracelet, and 2 pairs of heels -- one white and one pink (both are plastic; it would have been nice to have one pair of fabric shoes).

A comparison pic of “In Bloom” with my other Vanessa dolls.  As you can see, the color of her hair is very different from both “Miami Glow,” and “Shock Bon Bon.”  “In Bloom” is more of a flaxen blonde.  Her skin tone is also lighter than SBB’s.
